I am looking forward to a good media box based on gstreamer/elisa. You mention DVB-T, but I think the far more important thing is DVB-C. Nearly all digital broadcast with cable is encrypted here in Germany, while DVB-T is entirely free. There are some cards available from Hauppauge and Technotrend with Linux drivers and CI. Sorry, that I cannot send you one, but mine is plugged into the media centre of my parents... Good to hear the someone is working on that area.
