So we (Alia and I) flew to London last night. It’s a short journey from Barcelona to London Luton one would think. Well, we left our flat at 8:15pm last night, arrived to home in London at nearly 4:15am (5:15am Barcelona time). 9 hour journey! It started well (took 15 minutes to reach the airport by cab) , except forgetting to start the Flumotion broadcast for the Mosque. We got on to the plane late due to late arrival of the plane. Then we were sitting in the plane for over an hour waiting for the lightning storm to go away. Finally it took off and then as we were flying over the coatsline of the UK, it was announced that due to us arriving later than Luton airport’sclosing time, we’d be diverted to East Midlands airport which is near Nottingham. This is about 1 1/2 hours drive from Luton. Easyjet had promised free coaches to take us to Luton when we landed. So we landed and then got our luggage, my dad called to say he was already almost at East Midlands airport. We got our luggage and left, leaving a few hundred people waiting an hour or so more for their coach..

Thankfully today is a holiday in Spain so we can take it easy before mosque. Tonight is one of the possible nights of Lailatul Qadr.
