UN resolutions and how sometimes they don’t work
A lot of people are complaining at the lack of progress made to conform to UN resolution 1559 calling for disarmament of Lebanese militias. Have a look at the list of UN resolutions against Israel vetoed by the U.S. They all read between 11-1 and 14-1. It seems pointless to file a UN resolution against Israel.

That is a lot of resolutions condemning Israel and did it stop Israel from ethnic cleansing in Palestine or bombing its neighbours?
