Ruby GStramer Bindings
![]() |
So I have been playing and hacking today with/on the Ruby GStreamer 0.10 bindings that are currently in development and have to say they are in pretty good shape. There is still a lot to do and a lot more API to expose in the bindings. I want to use them to grab information about media files for use in a Ruby on Rails app. By information I mean things like length, width, height, framerate, codecs used and tags. The video player on the left is a Ruby application written in very few lines of code and can play any video files GStreamer. |
